起源:春節的來歷,在我國大約有四千多年的歷史了。它是我國民間最熱鬧、最隆重的壹個傳統節日。古代的春節,是指農歷二十四個節氣中的“立春”時節,南北朝以後才將春節改在壹年歲末,並泛指整個春季,這時大地回春,萬象更新,人們便把它作為新的壹年的開始。到了辛亥革命後的民國初年,改農歷為公歷[陽歷]後,便將正月初壹定為春節。直到1949年9月27日,中國人民政治協商會議上才正式把正月初壹的新年定為“春節”,因而至今仍有許多人將過春節叫過年。

年:?人們常把過春節說成“過年”,而“年”的最初含義與今天根本不同。據說,在很古的時候,世界上有壹種最兇惡的野獸叫“年”。它生長得比駱駝還大。跑起來比風還快,吼起來比雷還響。它壹出來,見人吃人,見畜傷畜,人們的生命安全受到嚴重威脅。天神為了懲罰“年”,把它鎖進深山,只許它壹年出山壹次。人們在長期的實踐中,發現了“年”有“三怕”——怕紅顏色、怕響聲、怕火光。於是,有壹年臘月三十晚,大夥在門口貼上紅紙,不斷地敲鑼打鼓、放鞭炮,晚上屋子裏徹夜點上燈。“年”晚上來了壹看,家家燈光通明;壹聽,處處放炮聲,嚇得它不敢進村。白天它又偷偷下山來,見還是戶戶門上紅,遍地咚咚響,嚇得它膽顫心驚,調頭又跑回去了。從此後,“年”壹直沒敢再來,據說餓死在深山老林裏了。後來,人們才把防“年”、“驅年”,變成安安穩穩地過年了。“年”沒有了,但是過年的習俗仍保持著。鮮紅的春聯,輝煌的燈火,清脆的爆竹,響亮的鑼鼓,年年如此
