there's a great gender inequality/segregation in every economy in the world. Many studies on gender inequalities have shown that they exist in our society in many ways. In America, gender segregation most prominently exists in work places. studies show that women are 20% less likely to find a job in a professional setting. Women also get paid 25% less than men for doing the same job. So why is there this inequality? Several answers were obtained in interviews with firms that were sexist: women are still considered by many as unstable, moody, and firms are concerned with pregnancy leave.
