Ladies of the Podium Scholarship
The Ladies of the Podium scholarships are endowed for the Women Band Directors International by Betty Jo and Kathy Schmidt. Women who are studying band music education at the undergrad or graduate level are encouraged to apply for one of four $500 scholarships.
Scholarship deadline is December 1 of each year. Recipients will be notified by January 15. Scholarships are possibly renewable, but applicant must re-apply.
學校自己發的獎學金，通常至少包學費，有時還發生活費。這種獎學金每個學校只發給每年錄取的前幾名學生。仍然面試成績最重要，以前獲獎情況也重要，其次是高中成績。決定獎學金時不會考慮托福成績的。當然如果妳托福不過線人家連錄取都不錄取。

Carson-Newman Music Scholarships for Organ, Piano, Voice, Band
Any high school senior or graduate with an interest in majoring in music who has not yet attended college is eligible to participate in the Carson-Newman College Full Tuition Scholarship Competition for Band, Voice, Piano, and Organ.
AWARDS:
- Four full-tuition scholarships, awarded to one winner in each category of band, voice, piano and organ
- Other music and academic scholarship award packages for those who participate in the competition
A brief, basic music theory exam is a component of the audition. You may want to review treble and bass clef note names, rhythmic values, time signatures, major and minor scales, and key signatures.
